Fern's basic approach to yoga is to see it as a discipline capable
of nourishing both the body and the soul throughout one's life.
In a safe and non-threatening environment, students are encouraged
to progress at their own pace through the basic and more advanced
postures. A major focus is on stress management.
Her teaching
background has blessed Fern with increased sensitivity to the needs
and abilities of each individual in the class and allows her to
encourage and validate the progress of each of her students regardless
of their achievement level. At the same time, participants are offered
the opportunity to experience a range of meditative exercises that
will eventually foster a heightened degree of self-awareness.
